Nightlife in Puerto Banús

For nightlife in Puerto Banus, there are many options. In fact the whole “season” scene in the Marbella is very well established, and indeed famous. In the summer months especially (although high season here is May to October!) there are events and parties seven nights a week. Nightlife in Puerto Banús includes international DJs at some of the bigger clubs and and smaller trendy rooftop bars open from dusk until dawn.

One place to go, and the top rated on Trip Adviser at the moment for pre-drinks, is Astral Cocktail Bar. It has been at the entrance of Puerto Banús since 2002 and is made up of a Galleon style ship bar area, with an unusual and original style; built entirely of wood. It has a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere and is rumoured to have the best cocktails in the area – works of art covered in exotic fruit.

Ocean Club combines glamour with a classic beach club concept with 9000 sqm of elegant décor. It’s spacious and provides table service as well as a poolside bar. It hosts a number of leading DJs, as well as theme nights, club nights and dancers. It’s a great place to go for early drinks and dancing before moving on to a club. Be warned, clubs in this area only really get going after 3 am!

For those that like to see and be seen and have a budget to cope, the top exclusive club in the area is Olivia Valere. There’s definitely a dress code and a clientele that they are famed for. If you want to mix with high society of Marbella, super models, sports stars, film stars and everyone who is  anyone from around the world, they will be here.

If you’re more into a karaoke night than a club night, there’s something for you too. Crystal’s Karaoke Puerto Banus is Marbella’s only luxury, premium karaoke bar. If boasts the best sound system quality facilities. Drinks are affordable with special offers to be had and a truly welcoming atmosphere where they remember you.

If it’s dancing you’re really interested in when it comes to nightlife in Puerto Banús, Dreamers is built for that. It’s all about international events, the top artists and concerts as well. It’s one big party where you can book your own table if you want to be able to sit down and take a break from the dancing. For the more popular events, you can buy tickets online to avoid disappointment.

Don’t forget Puerto Banus is actually 10 minutes west from the centre of Marbella and 45 minutes from the airport so you will need to organise transport if you are not staying in the centre of town.
