In addition to being a charming place, La Concepción has a past that gives it a touch of legend. Dating back to the mid 19th Century, the first iron foundry in Spain once stood on the site, the ruins of which can still be seen today. Indeed, through much of its history the site's activities have been related to the Verde river, whose course runs along its sides.
The present site incorporates the manor house, whose entrance was previously a church, and of course the extensive grounds which are divided up into various zones. These different zones are characterised by their distinctive natural environments. For example Los Altos Hornos (blast furnaces): a historical place with views of the Sierra Blanca (the White Mountain range). The pool area is perfect for cocktails or for the reception. The main gardens, with the ancient American walnut tree and spectacular fountain, will help make your event truly unforgettable.
This beautifully restored and unique venue has all necessary services available on the day to make your dreams a reality.
The Marbella area has strict noise nuisance laws, but this estate benefits from being able to allow music until 02:00 - this means live music until 12.00 and DJ until 02.00.
It has NO ACCOMMODATION (it is a venue only), but there are hotels nearby, and we can offer many villas in Marbella for your guests and also help with airport transfers.
