La Quinta Marbella
La Quinta Marbella is surrounded by the hills of Sierra Blanca and is set in the centre of renowned Golf Valley. It is also close to cosmopolitan centre of Marbella on the Costa Del Sol, famed for its glitz, glamour and nightlife.
La Quinta Marbella is perfectly situated just a few minutes drive from the attractive Old Town and the shopping, amazing cafes and restaurants in the Puerto Banús Marina Harbor.
For transport, Malaga Airport is the main aviation hub for incoming tourists and is only 45 minutes away by car or under an hour by the regular public direct bus.
The golf club itself at La Quinta Marbella hosts a 27 hole course, designed by Manuel Piñero – three time World Champion and Ryder Cup champion. It is suitable for all levels of ability, and the 27 holes are divided into 3 courses containing 9 holes each. Each course is aimed at developing different skills so there is something for everyone.
There is something for all ages including the kids. The golf club has it’s own kids club, located next to the Heavenly Spa. The club is available for children aged between 4 and 12 years old and has a picnic area, an outdoor play area, a ping pong table, a sports area, loads of board games and even a children´s swimming pool. The club is seasonal.
There are a range of places to eat and drink in the area. Restaurante Lima 26 is a great place to look at if you’re looking to try some Peruvian food in Marbella. It also serves Spanish food and is renowned for it’s seafood as well as it’s vegetarian and vegan options.
Less than a mile away from the golf club, for a light bite or bigger meal there is something for everyone at the All in 1 Cafe. It’s European and fusion food has great reviews on Trip Advisor and also has live music seasonally.
If you’re looking for more traditional Spanish fare, Los Patos is affordable and often frequented by the local for an authentic experience. The food is fresh from local suppliers and they’re happy to advise on what tapas you might enjoy.
