Estepona, a beautiful town just 10 minutes from many of our luxury villas, is looking for artists to add to it’s Ruta de Murales.

This beautiful Spanish beach town, known as the “garden city of the Costa del Sol”, has opened an EU funded competition to the international community.

The town is already home to 30+ murals on tall buildings, creating the Ruta which thousands of tourists walk each year.

The top 10 selected submissions will be invited to the town which will provide up to 1000 euros towards personal expenses to allow the artists to present their designs.

There is a €10,000 first prize & €5000 second prize (& the opportunity to paint the design of course)!

In recent years Estepona has become a must visit destination on the Costa del Sol. The Old Town has been pedestrianised and filled with tens of thousands of flowers, cobbled streets, sculpture, poetry, squares with water features, restaurants and bars. All year but especially in the summer there is an active programme of mostly free art, music and culture
