Estepona is a resort town known as the “Garden City of the Costa del Sol” in southern Spain, just to the south of Marbella. It has a promenade lined with palm trees as well the stunning beach of Playa de la Rada. Nearby there are bars and restaurants, as well as the water sports facilities of Puerto Deportivo. The whitewashed town centre circles around the flower covered square of Plaza de las Flores.

There are millions of flowers, endless parks, water features, cobbled flower lined streets – it’s absolutely charming and highly recommended for a visit, not least to see the 50+ huge murals painted around the town. Having said all of that, some people also enjoy the many Estepona golf courses on offer.

Estepona Golf is one of the clubs in the area.  It’s centrally placed with views of both the mountains and the sea.  In addition to a well designed golf course, which you can use for the morning, afternoon, or buy a seasonal pass, there is also a restaurant, a terrace bar, a shop and club.  You can hire buggies for the day, and book your tee off online using their website.

Valle Romano Golf  is another one of the most stunning Estepona golf courses, and in addition to that has it’s own academy if you want some extra help or to use your holiday to develop your game.  If you’re in town on business they offer corporate events and you can hire out meeting rooms.  This is in addition to having it’s own club house, a professional standard shop and a restaurant.

Slightly further north is La Resina Golf Club,  which is a smaller course and country club with 9 holes and a putting and pitching green.  It prides itself on it’s secluded setting and fantastic views, it’s family friendly approach and it’s restaurant and bar.  You can do more than just practice here.  It holds golf tournaments to compete in, including medal play tournaments and scramble tournaments.  You can even host your own events here.  You can book online on their website.
