The Ronda Retreat is inspired, both in design and emotional response, by the style of luxury African lodges. Immerse in the 22 acres of private grounds and gardens which are the perfect backdrop for a wedding or event.
This special place is idyllic all year round - the main lounge features a large fireplace and multiple decks overlooking the lawn and swimming pool. And behind them the stunning “Serrania de Ronda” mountains.
Inside you will discover seven boutique bedrooms, each featuring its own private bathroom, some with their own fireplace.
Guests can also enjoy time in historic Ronda, a world famous city perched high on a rocky outcrop overlooking vast valley plains.
Ronda has plenty to experience - the iconic Roman bridge spanning the El Tajo gorge, river & city wall walks, Mr Hendersons epic Victorian railway, museums, churches, cobbled streets, authentic tapas bars, vineyards, wine tasting and gourmet dining. Superior south-facing room, with open fire and large lounge area (king-size bed / bathroom with shower and bathtub).
Room 2
An east-facing bright room with a king size twin mattress, four-poster bed frame and fireplace for winters. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub.
Room 3
An east-facing bright room with a king size twin mattress in a four-poster bed frame and fireplace and bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Rooms 4 & 5
Room 4 - north-facing room with two separate single four-poster beds and bathroom with bathtub.
Room 5 - east-facing room with a king size twin mattress in a four-poster bed frame and fireplace, bathroom with bath.
The massage room has its own en suite bathroom and can be turned into an eigth bedroom by adding a large extra bed (200cm x 100cm) . This costs 44.00€/night and a small extra child bed costs 27.50€/night (2-8 years).

Wedding and events are uniquely able to book the Retreat for less than a week. 3 nights (midweek or weekend) are available with extra nights 4 and 5 available a pro rata seasonal rate. An 8th bedroom for 2 or 3 can be created for a small extra charge by converting the massage room, which has it's own ensuite bathroom.
Wedding and events fee
3800 euros charge for the main event and 500 euros per extra day. This includes the services of a wedding planner and many extras. Please ask for full details.

Set in the beautiful rolling countryside of Andalucia’s Serrania de Ronda Mountains, surrounded by national parks and the famous white villages, with Ronda just 15 minutes drive away. Marbella is 75 minutes drive (70km), and Malaga is 100km or 90 minute drive from the Retreat.ASK ABOUT AIRPORT TRANSFERS for your group.
How do I make a booking?
- we will ask for name, date of birth, address, telephone, email and passport number for the main booker
- a contract will then be issued and your dates reserved for 48 hours only during which time the signed contract and deposit should be made
- non-refundable deposit of 30% of the full rental price of the property & the event hire fee upon booking
- remaining balance must be received at least 8 weeks prior to the intended arrival date
- payment in euros to the nominated bank account of the owners / company account (SL company)
- you will need to pay a security / damages deposit which varies from group to group - for a wedding the deposit is 1000 euros

Founded by Julius Ceasar in 1st century AD, then taken by the Moors and the Romans, it is famed for its Puente Nuevo bridge finished in 1793 and spanning two clifftop sides of the city above lush river valleys. It just takes your breath away.
It is the 3rd most visited city in Andalucia, just 45 minutes inland from Marbella (other great cities we recommend within a few hours driving are Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada and Malaga).
